Health and Safety
At Angel Home Family Child Care, your child’s safety and well-being are our highest priorities. Our licensed daycare in Lynnwood, Washington follows strict health and safety guidelines to provide a secure, clean, and nurturing environment where children can thrive.
License & Compliance
We are fully licensed by the Washington State Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) and undergo routine inspections to ensure compliance with state regulations. Every staff member has passed a thorough background check and maintains up-to-date CPR and First Aid certification.
Cleanliness & Sanitization
A clean environment is essential for children’s health. Our classrooms, toys, and learning materials are sanitized daily using child-safe cleaning products. High-touch surfaces are disinfected multiple times throughout the day, and all bedding, blankets, and soft toys are washed regularly. We teach and practice proper handwashing with children before meals, after outdoor play, and after using the restroom to help reduce the spread of germs.
Health Policies
We follow clear and consistent health policies to ensure a safe environment for all children in our care. If a child shows symptoms of illness such as fever, vomiting, or contagious conditions, we require them to remain at home until they are symptom-free for at least 24 hours. We also take special precautions during cold and flu season, including increased sanitization and monitoring for signs of illness. For children with allergies or special health needs, we work closely with families to create individual care plans.
Emergency Preparedness
In the event of an emergency, our staff are trained and ready to respond. All teachers maintain current CPR and First Aid certification, and our facility is equipped with emergency supplies, including first aid kits and contact lists. We keep parents informed through phone calls, text alerts, or email updates, and we maintain clear communication during any urgent situation.
